Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN at The Manor, you will be integral in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Administering medications and accurately documenting medication administration.
- Ensuring the proper storage, handling, and disposal of all medications, including controlled substances.
- Inputting physician orders into electronic medical records on a daily basis and updating medication administration records as necessary.
- Continuously monitoring residents' health conditions and documenting your observations.
- Promptly informing the appropriate personnel of any changes in resident conditions or the need for clarification on orders.
- Supervising care staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to state, facility, and company protocols.
- Reporting incidents or concerns to the Administrator as required.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a nursing degree from an accredited institution and hold an active, unrestricted LPN license from the State of Arkansas. Ideally, you should have experience working with elderly individuals in a long-term care facility, assisted living environment, or similar healthcare setting. Familiarity with dementia care is advantageous.
