Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Arkansas Heart Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading the interdisciplinary care team in the management of patients with primarily cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with current clinical nursing practice.
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care as needed.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and significant others, incorporating population-specific criteria and assessment of readiness to learn.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to standard precautions.
  • Facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • ACLS certification required for any Registered Nurse by completion of clinical orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PALS or ENPC certification for Emergency Department RNs.
  • RCIS certification for Cath/EP Lab RNs.
