Supply Chain Material Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Material Coordinator to contribute to our operations at PPS-HPS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport kits, supplies, and shortages from the storage facility to designated production areas.
- Return excess materials back to the storage facility.
- Exchange parts at the storage facility as necessary.
- Verify inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Prepare work orders or inventory requests for the production floor.
- Operate a forklift to facilitate material movement.
- Consistently follow safety protocols.
- Maintain accuracy in inventory records and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Additional Information:

Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
- Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers effectively.
- Visual acuity is necessary to perform assigned tasks.
- Capability to sit for extended periods.
- May require talking on the phone and using a computer for prolonged durations.
Environmental Considerations:
- Personal protective equipment may be required where applicable.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels may occur.
- Potential exposure to noise from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
