Event Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Event Server to join our team at the University of Texas - Housing and Dining. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain tables throughout events
  • Run and replenish food for buffet lines and beverage stations
  • Adhere to food safety, physical safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Follow supervisor instructions and accommodate customers with food allergies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in banquet service or waitstaff roles is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines is required
  • Must bring proof of food handlers certification/TABC to the interview
  • Proficient in working within a team with strong attention to detail
  • Strong English communication skills for professional customer interaction
