Job Title: Senior.NET Desktop Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Desktop Engineer to join our team at Motion Recruitment Partners LLC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining desktop applications using C# and.NET 4.8+ frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop desktop applications using C# and.NET 4.8+ frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) applications for creating intuitive and user-friendly UI.
  • Implement and consume WCF services for inter-process communication and distributed applications.
  • Work with Entity Framework for data modeling and database interaction.
  • Collaborate in the design and optimization of database solutions using SQL Server.
  • Develop and integrate native applications using C/C++ for performance-critical components.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and QA, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Assist in API programming to facilitate system installations and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on desktop applications.
  • Strong expertise in C# and.NET 4.8+ (or higher) frameworks.
  • Proficient in WPF for building modern desktop UI applications.
  • Experience with WCF services and knowledge of inter-process communication techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework for ORM and database handling.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
  • Solid understanding of C/C++ for low-level application development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and application stability.
  • Experience working with source control tools like Git.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment, with familiarity in Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
