Job Summary

Bellin Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients and their families, adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Wisconsin upon hire.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
  • PALS highly encouraged.
  • Completion of surgery nursing certification within one year of eligibility required.
  • Minimum one year RN experience in a hospital setting preferred.
