About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Great Lakes Nursing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and their families.
- Complete accident and incident reports, and participate in the investigation process to identify areas for improvement.
- Transcribe physician orders and document resident information accurately, notifying physicians and family members as needed.
- Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy, and prepare and administer medication as ordered by physicians.
- Participate in care planning and conferences, updating care plans as needed to ensure resident needs are met.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all disciplines to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Must be currently licensed to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Wisconsin.
- Should be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
Registered Nursing License in the State of Wisconsin
