Therapist I

We are seeking a skilled Therapist I to join our team at Heartland Family Service. As a Therapist I, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy sessions, to promote stabilization and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including progress updates and treatment summaries.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy required.
• Iowa licensure (T-LMHC, LMHC, LMSW, or LISW) required.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license/acceptable driving record required.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a wage range of $24.04 to $30.41 per hour, depending on experience. This position is part-time, with a maximum of 20 hours per week, and offers flexible scheduling.
