Biomedical Equipment Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on a broad range of patient care and selected support equipment in compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical equipment technologies and best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare staff.
- Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
