Position Overview

HR Personnel Services is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to enhance operational efficiencies within our client’s organization in the Healthcare sector. This role is crucial for a public company with a workforce of 500 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and demonstrate expertise in comprehensive HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on employee retention strategies, addressing employee relations issues, managing performance evaluations, and facilitating terminations.
  • Conduct orientations for new hires and oversee their integration into the company.
  • Act as a primary contact for benefits inquiries, providing education on available company benefit programs.
  • Oversee management of leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and workers' compensation.
  • Administer various HR processes such as classification changes, salary assessments, and performance reviews.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver a variety of training programs.
  • Support recruitment efforts for administrative and business positions across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent experience as an HR generalist.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal communication, presentation abilities, and relationship management.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent service to both internal and external clients.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is highly preferred.
