About the Opportunity

This internship is an exciting chance to develop professional skills in strategic communications while making a real difference in the community. As a Communications and Advocacy Intern at Sasha Bruce Youthwork, you will assist with public relations and advocacy initiatives, combining traditional communications duties with hands-on experience in policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement across the DC metropolitan region.

You will work directly with the Executive Director, gaining valuable experience in crafting compelling messages, engaging with local stakeholders, and supporting advocacy campaigns. You will also develop strong research and analytical abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
