We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel IR RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, utilizing your expertise in imaging guidance to perform therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs and analyzing lab results and medical history.
- Provide education to patients and family members on procedures and post-procedure care.
- Insert and remove IV lines, administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs, and monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
- Oversee the safety and comfort of patients, providing post-procedure monitoring and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
