Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures.

Job Summary:

This is a travel assignment for an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience and be certified in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification. Vascular Interventional certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
  • Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
