Position Summary
The Seasonal Membership and Visitor Services Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the visitor experience through exceptional service. This role involves managing transactions related to admissions, memberships, educational programs, and events, while also overseeing equipment checkouts and lost and found services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service to all guests and members, utilizing various communication methods including phone, in-person, and electronic interactions.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Gardens' horticultural offerings, exhibits, and events to effectively represent the organization.
- Manage daily cash handling and reconcile transactions accurately.
- Facilitate bookings and process sales for admissions, classes, tours, and special events.
- Handle membership sales, including payment processing and member data management.
- Generate daily attendance and membership reports.
- Assist members and visitors with account inquiries and management.
- Supervise lost and found items and manage equipment checkouts at designated information desks.
- Ensure the availability of promotional materials at information desks.
- Welcome event guests and coordinate with relevant staff.
- Maintain operational hours for admissions and support special events as needed.
- Exemplify positive behavior and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a high-quality experience for all visitors.
- Regular attendance is expected, with flexibility for remote work based on management discretion.
Qualifications
- Proficient in data entry, cash handling, and balancing financial transactions in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to interpret and analyze business documents and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
- Competent in mathematical calculations relevant to discounts and financial transactions.
- Problem-solving skills to navigate diverse situations with limited standardization.

Experience and Education
