Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Professional to join our team at Miller Family Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads and pastries for service. Your passion for creating delicious baked goods and attention to detail will ensure that our customers enjoy a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bake a variety of breads, desserts, and pastries to meet customer demand
  • Prepare custom orders to meet the needs of our customers
  • Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary to ensure we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of our customers
  • Previous experience decorating cakes is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
