Job Summary:

  • Job Type: Travel Allied Health Professional
  • Specialty: Echo-Vascular Technician
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, days

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with pediatric critical care medicine physicians and hospitalists to provide high-quality pediatric and congenital cardiac sonograms.
  • Work in various inpatient settings, including NICU, PICU, CICU, cardiac stepdown, CVOR, and Cath labs.
  • Provide sonograms in outpatient settings, including multiple UT Health pediatrics cardiology clinics throughout the greater Houston area.
  • Adhere to national best practices and standards in pediatric and congenital cardiac sonography.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Echo-Vascular Technician in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric and congenital cardiac sonography.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
