Job Overview

PrideStaff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Coordinator to join our team. As a Tax Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our tax department by managing project deadlines, ensuring seamless communication, and tracking the progress of various tax-related tasks.

You will work closely with department leaders to manage weekly reporting requirements, ensure tax project assignments are distributed, and maintain accurate records of tax filings, documentation, and project statuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Tax Department Managers to ensure all tax project deadlines are met.
  • Manage weekly reporting requirements for department leaders, providing clear updates on project progress.
  • Assign tax-related projects to the appropriate team members and track their completion.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of tax filings, documentation, and project statuses.
  • Communicate regularly with department managers to address any potential roadblocks or resource needs.
  • Ensure all tax-related tasks are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within a CPA firm or accounting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of tax processes and terminology is a plus.
