About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Finance Practice team at DLA Piper. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers and clients in a variety of corporate law matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and update closing and other books and documents
  • Research, prepare, and file legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, and annual reports
  • Manage data rooms and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties' counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc.
  • Develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
  • 6 years' Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work
Preferred Requirements
  • Blue Sky experience
  • Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Large firm experience
