Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize production processes to meet delivery, quality, and cost objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Report on labor productivity and machine utilization metrics to senior management.
- Conduct performance assessments for supervisory staff.
- Ensure compliance with production, quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment and uphold 5S housekeeping protocols.
- Direct corrective actions to address production downtime effectively.
- Proactively resolve conflicts and operational challenges.
- Foster a positive management culture and engage in team meetings.
- Supervise Team Leaders and production personnel to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Implement and uphold safety practices and manage plant emergencies.
- Oversee the training and development of supervisors and team leaders in both technical and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Control standards and enhance the company’s reputation as a quality manufacturer.
- Communicate effectively with all employees to promote understanding and collaboration.
- Manage personnel to cultivate trust and integrity within the workforce.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement that contribute to profitability.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Recent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of achieving results through team collaboration.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and budgetary management.
- High level of professionalism, organizational skills, and diplomacy.
- Adept at motivating and delegating responsibilities to team members.
- Solid foundation in lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with launching new programs is required.
