We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Assistant Estimator to join our team at Matos Builders LLC. As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our estimating team in the completion of requests for proposal, invitations to bid, and requests for qualification responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating Support: Assist in the preparation of estimates, including subcontractor solicitation, data management, and collaboration with the estimating team.
  • Proposal Development: Support the development of proposals, including creating new invitations to bid, managing databases, and soliciting subcontractors.
  • Site Visits: Attend site visits to gather information and support the estimating team.
  • Estimate File Management: Ensure the integrity of estimate files and support the estimating team with their duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience working directly with the Federal Government or large institutions on construction contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with spreadsheets and estimating/database software, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, exceptional organizational skills, and effective team player.
Work Environment

Our office is a fast-paced environment, and we require our team members to be able to work effectively in this setting. We offer a hybrid work schedule after a 90-day probationary period.
