Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of safety professionals in the development of safety plans, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
  • Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety plans, procedures, and reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems safety, with a focus on aerospace systems.
  • Proven track record of leading safety teams and developing safety plans and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with MIL-STD-882E and/or ARP4761.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including FAA and DoD requirements.
  • Experience with safety analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
