Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the Construction Safety Coordination Program initiatives.
  • Oversee project activities in collaboration with the construction management team, reviewing procedures, programs, and policies that impact construction safety.
  • Establish and implement safety metrics for monitoring and reporting the safety performance of both self-performed work and subcontractors.
  • Assist in conducting Mullins Safety Analysis (MSA), Site Safety Work Plans, and Public Hazard Analysis.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and coordinate necessary corrections with all personnel and contractors.
  • Review and supervise the investigation of construction-related incidents and accidents.
  • Facilitate Site Specific Orientation procedures for a diverse workforce.
  • Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings to stay informed about jobsite phases and identify potential safety hazards.
  • Provide overall safety oversight while managing both administrative and field safety coordination tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction safety coordination is required.
  • Experience in safety coordination on large-scale industrial projects (preferably $10 million or more).
  • Willingness to travel and/or relocate as necessary for project sites.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (1926 Construction) is required.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification is required.
  • A degree in a safety-related field is preferred.
  • OSHA 510 certification is preferred.
  • OSHA 500 Authorized Instructor certification is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ProCore is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (including Revu, Adobe, Word, Excel) are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with executive-level clients in high-pressure situations.
