About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Visiting Nurse (RN) to join our team at East Tennessee State University. The ideal candidate will have experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting, or mental/behavioral nursing.

This is a full-time position contingent on grant funding and offers a competitive salary of $73,000 per year. The NFP program provides vital support to first-time mothers by promoting and supporting healthy pregnancies and postnatal care.

The Home Visiting Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing home visits to women and their families eligible for the NFP Program. This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote healthy pregnancies and postnatal care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

This position requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, as well as an unencumbered TN RN license or license eligible.
