We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor/Driver at Hope The Mission. As a key member of our Navigation Center team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our participants and staff.

Job Summary:

The Janitor/Driver will be responsible for the general cleanliness and maintenance of the center and its surroundings. This includes cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and public areas. Additionally, the Janitor/Driver will transport participants to and from the Navigation Center per established routes and as directed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for participants and staff
  • Clean and sanitize offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and public areas
  • Transport participants to and from the Navigation Center per established routes and as directed by the supervisor
  • Log all miles accordingly
  • Maintain sufficient gasoline in the vehicle at all times
  • Complete daily maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Interact with participants in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of janitorial experience
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
  • Capacity to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
  • TB test required
  • Valid CA Driver's license with excellent driving record
