Job Title: Social Worker

We are seeking a licensed Social Worker to join our team at Services for the UnderServed (S:US). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychosocial assessments, facilitating linkages to community-based services, and working with families impacted by multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of complex families
  • Assess family needs and facilitate linkages to community-based services
  • Work within a crisis-driven environment with a knowledge base of substance abuse, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and mental health conditions
  • Provide education to team members on clients' psychosocial stressors and needs
  • Attend ongoing professional development and provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to inform policy and practice
  • Be available to families seeking assistance at least five days a week, eight hours a day
  • Work from a strength-based, family-focused, client-centered perspective
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Current licensure as an LMSW or LMHC
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, emotional/behavioral health, mental health, parent-child relationships, family dynamics, and diagnostic classification
  • Strong expertise in strengths-based, solution-focused, and family-centered practice
  • Knowledge of guidelines, policies, and regulations relating to child welfare, safety, permanency, and well-being
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual candidates preferred but not required
