Nurse Residency Program for New Grad RNs

At Centerpoint Medical Center, we are committed to the growth and development of our future nurses. Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to provide recent graduate nurses with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment.
The program includes advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training with a facility preceptor, measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations, mentoring from experienced nurse leaders, and working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project.

We estimate that our new graduates earn around $65,000 to $85,000 per year based on their experience and qualifications. However, salaries may vary depending on location, department, and level of experience.
The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
We have over 285 beds and offer various services, including emergency services, orthopedic services, cancer treatment, and neonatal intensive care. We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
