New Graduate Nurse RN Residency Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate New Graduate Nurse RN Residency Program Coordinator to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your nursing skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the RoleThe RN Residency Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with patients, families, and caregivers to support an unparalleled patient experience. As a RN Residency Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work on various clinical rotations, develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and contribute to the growth and development of our future nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs, and resolving them proactively.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects, ensuring complete understanding.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment.
- Other certifications may be required during employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
- No previous experience needed.
- Some travel may be necessary for training.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
