Overview

The role of an Electro-Mechanical Assembler involves a variety of tasks essential for the assembly and testing of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Deciphering assembly instructions, technical drawings, and component lists.
  • Utilizing basic electronic measurement tools, manufacturing equipment, assembly jigs, and hand tools.
  • Constructing and evaluating products according to specifications while adhering to quality standards.
  • Minimizing damage to components and reducing production interruptions.
  • Completing designated tasks within financial constraints.
  • Possessing skills in wire bonding and soldering.
  • Collaborating across various product lines as necessary.
  • Following both verbal and written directives from technical drawings and established protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years in intermediate electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Preferred Skills: Manual dexterity and the capability to mentor fellow employees.

Work Environment: Based on the manufacturing floor

Physical Requirements: Ability to remain seated at a workstation/microscope for extended periods exceeding 8 hours daily.

The position of Electro-Mechanical Assembler necessitates the ability to interpret assembly instructions, construct and assess products, and work across various product lines. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's Degree, possess 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, and demonstrate manual dexterity along with the ability to train others.
