Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist II to join our team at Doble Engineering Company. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality electronic assemblies and electro-mechanical commodities to our internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and inspect incoming products to ensure they meet our specifications and standards.
  • Manage and maintain a database of inspection results and process returns for non-conforming materials.
  • Train members of the operations and quality organizations to perform inspection and testing.
  • Perform visual inspection of a wide variety of commodities to support cross-functional teams.
  • Interface with multiple disciplines across the Doble community to resolve issues affecting product quality and reliability.
  • Maintain an electronic database of test equipment and provide input to engineering organizations on a daily basis.
  • Participate in the MRB team to document and deliver defective materials.
  • Inspect and test incoming components, assemblies, PCBs, and metal structures to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing and processing environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or equivalent experience.
  • Formal training in IPC (610 and 600) related to understanding and inspection of PCB Assemblies.
  • Demonstrated experience with databases such as MRP, MRB, NAV, Omnify, and other internal databases.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to support multiple groups across the Doble community.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Understanding of process flow for determining root cause and corrective action.
  • Ability to perform visual inspection using high magnification equipment.
  • Manual dexterity in the use of tools and equipment associated with mechanical and electrical assembly.
