About the Role

AHL Healthcare Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including conducting repairs, installations, and scheduled maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete routine and scheduled maintenance across all AHL Healthcare Group properties in a timely manner
  • Perform repairs, installations of light fixtures, ceiling fans, plumbing fixtures, and household appliances
  • Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water systems, including purchasing and delivering water softener salt monthly to all metro properties
  • Replace both interior and exterior doors and windows
  • Have solid experience with flooring, from stretching carpet to full replacement and repair, including wood, vinyl, linoleum, stone, and tile, and carpeting
  • Perform full remodels of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms
  • Maintain the exterior of homes and repair as needed
  • Repair, replace, and build outdoor decks, stairs, and fences
  • Be on-call to respond to emergency issues
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass a MN DHS Background Study
  • Vocational or trade school certification preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical systems
  • Solid construction and contractor experience
  • Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday
  • Manage and review maintenance requests, planning and prioritizing work

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, car insurance, and a clean record
  • Available after hours for emergencies
