Position Overview

The Millwork Installation Specialist II is responsible for the installation of various types of millwork across different applications. This role requires following the guidance of the field supervisor and adhering to manufacturer specifications and warranty requirements for all installed products.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to instructions from the field supervisor regarding the installation of millwork materials.
  • Collaborate with fellow installers to execute the installation of millwork products as directed and trained.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty stipulations during installations.
  • Document time and materials utilized for each installation project.
  • Maintain all tools and equipment in optimal condition, reporting any issues to the field supervisor.
  • Operate all machinery safely and responsibly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn about new technologies in building materials and installation techniques as required by management.
  • Engage in cross-training opportunities to broaden knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain awareness of the work environment to ensure error-free and damage-free outcomes.
  • Adhere to the company's attendance policy by maintaining consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the field supervisor or management.
Level II Criteria
  • Responsible for the installation of more complex or demanding building products.
  • Provide training to entry-level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods.
Qualifications
  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED.
  • Special skills required: Proficient in reading and utilizing a measuring tape and other necessary tools for complete installations.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to follow and provide detailed instructions.
  • Physical demands include walking throughout various environments, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequently lifting up to 100 pounds. Capability to work from heights on ladders or in confined spaces.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
Level II Experience Criteria
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in millwork installation/service.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster excellent teamwork and customer relationships.
