Role Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Heavy Civil Engineer with a background in managing substantial construction initiatives. The successful candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and will be tasked with overseeing multiple facets of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Direct and oversee heavy civil engineering projects, including but not limited to marine construction, bridge development, and utility infrastructure.
  • Design Collaboration: Work alongside project teams to create comprehensive engineering designs and plans, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • On-Site Management: Supervise construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and safety protocols are followed.

  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve engineering and construction challenges to facilitate project success.
  • Documentation Management: Generate and review engineering documentation, including reports and specifications, ensuring timely and accurate project updates.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineering professionals to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in heavy civil engineering, with a focus on marine construction, bridge projects, or utility work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering software and tools, including CAD and project management applications.
  • Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations, along with relevant codes and standards.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
