POSITION SUMMARY
This role involves assisting in the installation of stone countertops and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze shop drawings to understand job specifications.
  • Adhere to instructions provided by job management software for effective countertop installation. Engage with project managers and supervisors for any necessary clarifications.
  • Transport finished stone countertops to job sites using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe handling and delivery.
  • Regularly lift heavy materials, up to 200 lbs, as part of the installation process.
  • Perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, polishing, and assembling stone pieces, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Engage with clients to confirm their satisfaction with the completed installations.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment by cleaning and organizing the job site.
  • Deliver leftover materials to job sites as required.
  • Collect stone slabs from suppliers when necessary.
  • Ensure that all vehicles and tools are kept clean and organized.
  • Make minor adjustments to cabinetry or drywall to ensure proper fitting of stone pieces and sinks.
  • Utilize forklifts for the loading and unloading of large stone pieces.
