We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an In-Home Design Specialist at Furniture Mall of Kansas.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen eye for design. As an In-Home Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating personalized shopping experiences for our guests, providing expert advice on furniture and decor, and building strong relationships with our sales staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including furniture, accents, and color schemes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on selecting the perfect furniture and decor for their homes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our sales staff and customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Meet and exceed sales and service objectives, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a retail selling environment preferred.
  • 6 months experience in the Home Furnishings industry or related academic qualifications preferred.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Ability to work individually or with a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
