Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects, including budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and client satisfaction.
  • Directly supervise project teams, including supervisory and management staff.
  • Make timely decisions to ensure project profitability.
  • Properly utilize and manage Company-Owned and rented equipment.
  • Provide guidance and input into project schedules, job cost, and management reporting.
  • Develop and execute subcontracts, purchase orders, payment requisitions, and proposals.
  • Review and approve job site purchases and construction methods.
  • Ensure timely completion of Company forms, reports, and logs.
  • Prepare and submit monthly requisitions and financial reports.
  • Approve payment invoices from vendors and suppliers.
  • Communicate with owners, clients, and engineers.
  • Coordinate resource utilization with other Company personnel.
  • Develop and manage back charges and change orders.
  • Support bidding and business development activities.
  • Support Company training and employee development activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in High Voltage Substation, Distribution, and Transmission projects in the Midwest Utility market.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience successfully completing multi-million dollar electrical construction projects.
