Palliative Medicine Physician Opportunity

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Palliative Medicine Physician to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a member of our Palliative Medicine team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our program.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine.
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
