Cardiovascular Sonographer

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a talented Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Imaging team, you will be responsible for performing basic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures to provide high-quality care for our patients and medical staff.

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures to acquire echocardiographic and vascular data
• Provide high-quality care for patients and medical staff
• Collaborate with experienced specialists from cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery
• Participate in a collaborative approach to care, bringing together expertise to treat and heal patients

• High school education or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program
• Registered in Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Cardiac Ultrasound Tech (RDCS) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registered in vascular and cardiac ultrasound as Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) and Registered Cardiac Specialist (RCS) with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

• Associate's degree from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program
• Demonstrate ability to think deductively and make clinical decisions
• Experience with typical office equipment and ultrasound equipment
