Medical Specimen Collector

As a Medical Specimen Collector with Cynet Systems, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other bodily fluids for laboratory testing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other specimens from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Label and process specimens according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a lab or hospital setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or GED.
