Job Summary:

As a Call Center Representative at United Auto Credit Corporation, you will play a crucial role in following up on submitted applications that have been approved or conditionally approved through our automated decisioning process. Your primary goal will be to capture contracts by following up with dealerships over the phone using our company's lending approach, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our dealer body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow up with dealerships on automated decisioning applications to capture contracts.
  • Ensure loan requests meet program and product specifications or counteroffer to a different product and/or program when appropriate.
  • Nurture relationship management between the Dealership Body and the Sales/Marketing team to drive day-to-day success, meeting monthly goals for production, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review deals with dealer partners and help them structure or restructure as needed to fit the program.
  • Interact daily with automotive dealerships to gather information needed to recommend different products and/or programs when appropriate.
  • Partner with dealerships and Area Managers to educate them on the rationale behind credit decisions made as needed.
  • Effective communication with the dealership body to build strong relationships.
  • Build strong working relationships with the Sales/Marketing Team, Funders, and Dealership Body.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships with Customers (our Dealers), Sales/Marketing Team Members, and Peers.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong desire to achieve and succeed in a highly competitive market.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Previous experience within the Auto Finance or Financial Services Sector highly preferred but not required.
Language Ability:
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person, in writing, and by telephone.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired.
Computer Skills:

Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access, and SharePoint.

Compensation:

Pay range between $17-$19 an hour, based on experience.

Bonuses:

Uncapped monthly bonuses averaging $1,100 monthly.
