Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech and language services to elementary students in a school district.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students on a weekly basis, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance student outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize student growth.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Connecticut SLP license or ability to obtain one.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, with a strong understanding of educational settings and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Scheduled hours: [insert hours per week]
- Days per week: 5 days a week if full-time; flexible if part-time
- Caseload size and age range: Elementary, approximately 45 students on caseload
