Speech Language Pathologist, PRN

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and hearing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and hearing disorders
- Apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech-language, oral motor, and hearing disorders
- Perform specialized evaluations for dysphagia
- Comply with hospital policies and support the mission and values of the hospital
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: The Speech Language Pathologist must be duly licensed by the Georgia State Board and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
- Education: The speech-language pathologist must hold a Master's degree from an American Speech-Language Hearing Association accredited program and be licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board
- Experience: Speech Language Pathologists should have a minimum of broad experience in a variety of different clinical settings through their ASHA accredited clinical internship programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of Speech Therapy practices, procedures, and clinical skills
- Knowledge of required documentation and billing that satisfies the Georgia State practice act, JCAHO requirements, and meets the requirements of Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate Speech Therapy treatments with other therapy providers
- Ability to work collaboratively with all other members of the St. Mary's Health Care System, including nurses, physicians, and hospital personnel
