Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including prophylaxis, oral cancer screening, and radiographic studies.
  • Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping them.
  • Provide information and education to patients and colleagues as needed.
  • Maintain and select instrumentation and materials for dental hygiene visits.
  • Arrest dental decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents.
Requirements
  • Active dental hygiene license in NJ.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practices.
