Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Restoration Specialist to join our team at Premier Building Restoration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, tracking equipment and materials on site, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with subcontractors and tracking equipment and materials on site
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Managing schedule with Project Managers
  • Performing quality control duties and responsibilities
  • Communicating with project team regarding RFI's, material submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinating required inspections
  • Identifying labor/subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
  • Identifying conflicts in construction progress and communicating them to the project management team for resolution
  • Ensuring subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team
  • Walking all equipment and material on projects daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning
  • Presiding over weekly foreman meetings designed to coordinate the work and reinforce project goals
  • Attending pre-bid, descope, and project assessment meetings as needed
  • Gathering project material submittals and maintaining records of approvals at the jobsite
  • Presiding at pre-construction meeting with each subcontractor

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years masonry and waterproofing experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Google docs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with office support staff
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst subcontractors and vendors
  • Historic Restoration Certificate provided by I.M.Endurance and ability to visit the entire job site, including stair swings, scaffold, high reaches or other elevated structures
  • Introduction to Local 1 Union Hall if not already a member
  • Dental

  • Full Time, Monday - Friday
  • Philadelphia, and surrounding areas plus minimal office time
  • Hourly position based on current Local 1 Union rates
