Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide care for a medically fragile teenager in Ormond Beach, FL. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with the patient, providing continuous care and support to help them thrive in their home environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the patient's prescribed plan of care, including administering medication, treatments, and therapies.
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
  • Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with the patient's physician and healthcare team to address any concerns or changes in the patient's condition.

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
