Job Overview:

As a Nurse Specialist at our facility, you will be part of a purpose-minded team that extends the healing ministry of Christ.

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical and/or ER nursing, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

About the Role:

As a Nurse Specialist, you will perform direct patient care activities that are developmental and age-specific for the population served. You will coordinate, supervise, and direct those providing care at a novice and advanced beginner level. This role requires adherence to hospital accountabilities, Standards of Practice, and support of Nursing Service and patient care goals.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work utilizing the Electronic Medical Record, reviewing medical records to assess needs, completing assessments and data histories, instructing/educating patients and/or significant others, documenting properly, and providing adequate supplies according to patient needs. Additionally, you will provide patient care in a safe manner utilizing evidence-based practice for quality outcomes and act as a patient advocate while promoting teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with current nursing licensure (RN) in the State of Texas, Current BLS certification, and at least one year of medical-surgical and/or ER nursing experience. New graduates are also encouraged to apply, provided they have completed an internship or preceptorship program.

Benefits:

Our competitive salary ranges from $$65,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
