We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA. As a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients struggling with mental health issues.

Job Summary:
As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing short-term intensive mental health treatment to adults in crisis. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique needs. Your expertise and compassion will help our patients navigate challenging situations and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based treatments to patients struggling with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Assess and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
