Pharmacy Technician

Main Responsibilities- Process new prescriptions and manage resident profiles with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and meet customer needs.
- Assist with dispensing prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with state pharmacy regulations.
- Participate in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Escalate concerns to the Pharmacy Manager immediately and assist other Pharmacy technicians as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, including answering telephones and providing information to customers.
Education/Learning Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a pharmacy and customer service setting preferred.
- Ability to operate a computer and recognize and identify medications.
- Effective oral communication and teamwork skills required.
Licenses/Certifications
- PA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
