Altruix is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Main Responsibilities- Process new prescriptions received from facilities, manage resident profiles, and provide customer service.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned facilities.
- Assist with dispensing of prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with state pharmacy regulations.
- Perform data entry, label products, and participate in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy.
- May process returned medications from facilities for credit or destruction, and assist in the training of new employees.
- High School diploma or equivalent, and experience in a pharmacy and customer service setting.
- Ability to operate a computer, recognize and identify medications, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Preferred: PA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and experience with Specialty pharmacy software (QS1/PrimeRx).
