We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to join our team at Wingate Management Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, common areas, model units, elevators, mailbox areas, parking areas, and vacant apartments.
- Clean and maintain appliances, plumbing, and other equipment as needed.
- Assist with painting and other maintenance tasks as directed.
- Perform grounds maintenance, including lawn care, snow removal, and litter clean-up.
- Attend staff and resident meetings as required.
- Participate in miscellaneous social program activities, such as setup, pick-ups, and clean-ups.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- General knowledge of plumbing maintenance and ability to turn on and off power, water, and gas.
- Bi-lingual (ability to speak English and Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to lift/move 51lbs unassisted, climb stairs, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and grasp/grip/turn.
