Your next career opportunity awaits in Syracuse, NY. We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join our team at PDS Tech Commercial. As a key member of our project support team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and requires local candidates. The successful candidate will have experience in schedule management and will be responsible for:

  • Developing work packages and project schedules with input from other project team members
  • Updating project schedules on a regular basis and performing resource loading as required
  • Monitoring and controlling project schedules to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence throughout the Network Development Process
Key Responsibilities

The Project Controls Scheduler will be accountable for:

  • Building and developing project schedules across a portfolio
  • Progressing each project every month to ensure all projects are monitored for project controls in line with the monthly reporting cycle
  • Using the schedule and forecast to review project cost/schedule integration throughout the Network Development Process
  • Ensuring schedule data is accurate to allow Project Controls to report milestones, planned value, and earned value data
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2-8 years' experience in schedule management
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in the use of Oracle Primavera P6
  • Intermediate knowledge or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, or an equivalent of eight (8) years of verifiable work experience in a scheduling role

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $68.00 - $73.00 per hour, depending on experience.
